Check Battery Voltage at key on (min 11 V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check the battery voltage with the ignition switch on. If the voltage is too low then recharge the battery Minimum 11 V Step 2 Check wiring harness for circuit continuity. If found faulty replace harness Proper connection Step 5 If problem still persists; Replace the ECU. Circuit Description: ECM continuously monitors its internal memory status, internal circuits. These are basically self-checks that insure that ECM is functioning properly. If any malfunction is detected, ECM will set the DTC. ECM is supplied voltage from the battery positive supply through Main relay. ECM ground connection is connected to the battery negative supply.
