AMF Sensor connection short circuit to Battery 2. ECU connection 3. Electrical wiring 4. Wiring connector breakage 1.MIL Lamp On 2. Temperature set to default value Component Details: The Air Flow Sensor is used to determine the actual flow of air mass charged into the engine. That value is used for the regulation of exhaust gas recirculation and fuel quantity limitation within the engine control. In addition, air mass flow sensor has a temperature sensor that is used to determine the intake temperature. The sensor is mounted between the fresh air filter and the turbo charger. Checkpoints: 1. Check wiring harness related to hot film air mass sensor (AMF) 2. Check AMF (air mass flow sensor) for any damage/ defective Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check connector is connected properly Physical check Step 2 Check for continuity between sensor connector and ECU Harness (B65 & 4 Sensor Connector) Check the End to end continuity using multimeter Step 3 Check the sensor physically Physical check Step 4 If the problem persists, replace the sensor - Circuit Schematic Diagram: Component Location and Image:
