Injector Bank 2 (Cylinder 2 or Cylinder 3) high side pins short to ground 2. Faulty ECU 1. Idle speed raised 2. Reduced vehicle performance 3. Vehicle Misfire possible 4. Vehicle might not start Component Details: The Solenoid Valve Injectors are used to inject the desired fuel quantity based on the engine operating conditions into the combustion chamber. They are mounted at the cylinder head above the combustion chamber. Checkpoints: 1. Check wiring harness connections related to injector circuit Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check the Battery voltage. If Voltage out of Range, correct battery 06 – 16 V Step 2 Check if injector connector is fitted properly. Rectify if necessary Step 3 Check for pin back outs on injector and ECU connector. Rectify if necessary Step 4 Check for wiring harness circuit continuity. Rectify if necessary Refer circuit diagram Step 5 Replace ECU Circuit Schematic Diagram: Component Location and Image: Connector View & Information - Wiring Harness Side
