This document must not be used in any way, such as copying and redistributing to third parties, without our consent P02CE-84 : Cylinder 2 Fuel Injector "A" Offset Learning At Min Limit Overview: Code Root Cause Vehicle Behavior Fault Code: P02CE-84 MIL- off CEL – ON Immo Lamp – NA Message on IC - NA 1.This fault is raised when insufficient updates are performed in zone 0 2.This DTC is logged when injector 2 learning does not happen for 3000 km in zone 0 3. Enginemay have abnormal noise and vibrations. Component Details: The Solenoid Valve Injectors are used to inject the desired fuel quantity based on the engine operating conditions into the combustion chamber. They are mounted at the cylinder head above the combustion chamber. Checkpoints: Check I3C values (Injector code) of injector 2. Look for fault in SPC group Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 1) Check I3C values are correctly fed in the ECU (by comparing the I3C values written on the injectors against I3C values visible in the diagnostics tool). If not, feed the correct I3C values in the ECU Step 2 2) Re-write the I3C values in the ECU even if it's correct. Step 3 3) Check correct clutch switch setting. (Follow clutch switch checking procedure given in checking procedure under system data) Step 4 4) Check for presence of any other P-codes in ECU memory and follow the rectification procedure to correct it before proceeding further. Please note erasing the faults from the ECU memory will not help. Step 5 5) After rectifying, warm up the engine (coolant temperature >80 deg C) Step 6 6) Then drive the vehicle in 3rd gear to vehicle speed above 60 kmph, then release the accelerator pedal till the vehicle speed drops to 30 kmph. Avoid applying brake unless required. Repeat this driving cycle no of times at least 15 to 20 minutes. Step 7 7) Switch off the ignition switch, wait for 60 seconds, start the engine and drive the vehicle. Fault code should not re-appear. Circuit Schematic Diagram: Component Location and Image:
