Short to power in the signal circuit to the TBCPS sensor -Possible 2. Open in ground circuit at TBCPS sensor- Possible 3. Possible Failed TBCPS Sensor - Likely 4. Failed ECU - unlikely 1. Malfunction Indicator Light On 2. Poor performance 3. Hesitation during acceleration 4. Decrease in fuel economy Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Rectification Step 1 Check connector is connected properly Remove and connect again Step 2 Check for short to power in the signal circuit to the TBCPS sensor Continuity Step 3 Check possible for the possibility open in ground circuit at TBCPS sensor Continuity Step 3 Check the sensor physically Physical check Step 4 If the problem persists, replace the sensor Replace sensor Circuit Schematic Diagram:
