This information is typically used to fine-tune the amount of boost provided to the engine by the turbocharger. The boost pressure sensor provides the PCM with the rest of the information needed for turbo boost pressure calculations. Anytime the voltage on the TBCPS sensor signal wire goes below a set level (usually under 0.3V), the PCM will set code P2564. This code is considered to be an electrical circuit fault only. Overview: Code Cause Effect on Vehicle Fault Code: P2564-12 5. Short to power in the signal circuit to the TBCPS sensor -Possible 6. Open in ground circuit at TBCPS sensor- Possible 7. Possible Failed TBCPS Sensor - Likely 8. Failed ECU - unlikely 1. Malfunction Indicator Light On 2. Poor performance 3. Hesitation during acceleration 4. Decrease in fuel economy Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Rectification Step 1 Check connector is connected properly Remove and connect again Step 2 Check for short to power in the signal circuit to the TBCPS sensor Continuity Step 3 Check possible for the possibility open in ground circuit at TBCPS sensor Continuity Step 3 Check the sensor physically Physical check Step 4 If the problem persists, replace the sensor Replace sensor Circuit Schematic Diagram:
