Smoky exhaust 3. Reduce torque active, power loss 4. Disables EGR 5. Disables engine drive mode i.e. Sport mode, Eco mode 6. Disables Speed pilot control routine service (SPCS) 7. Disables VGT Component Details: Turbocharger (TC) is used to generate desired boost pressure utilizing the left over thermal energy of exhaust gases. It is Variable Nozzle Turbine (VNT) type in order to generate desired boost pressure across the entire engine operating conditions using vanes which are electrically controlled by EMS ECU. It is mounted on exhaust manifold of the engine. TMAP sensor is used to measure pressure and temperature of boost air supplied by turbocharger and provides the value to EMS ECU to allow turbocharger to match the actual boost generated with that of boost demand required. It is mounted on intercooler outlet header Trouble Shooting: Step Checks Rectification 1 Check if the fuse connected between the EMS ECU Main relay and Battery is blown off? Physical check 3 Check if the wiring harness connector is properly connected to the boost pressure sensor & no damage or pin back out? Physical check 4 Check if there is any oxidation, rust, mud, dirt, foreign particle accumulation on the connector? Physical check 5 Check if the wiring harness connector is properly connected to the EMS ECU, & no damage or pin back out? Physical check 8 Check if there is any physical damage of Boost pressure and temperature sensor or its connector? Replace sensor/connector 9 Check if the VGT actuator is stuck open/mechanical damage? Replace VGT actuator 13 Check if the problem still persists? Replace boost pressure & temperature sensor 14 Check if the problem still persists? Replace VGT actuator Circuit Schematic Diagram:
