Check Electrical connections Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check connector is connected properly Remove and connect again Step 2 Check for continuity between sensor connector pins 1, 2, 4,5 and ECU pins A87, A66,A42,A15,A60 respectively. Check the continuity between the sensor and ECU Step 3 Check the sensor physically Connect the ECU connector properly Step 4 If the problem persists, replace the sensor Physical check Step 1 Check connector is connected properly Remove and connect again Circuit Description: ECM in accordance with engine and driving conditions gives an electric output to directly drive a DC motor (Part of Throttle valve) which in turn drives the Throttle valve. Hence ECM indirectly controls the opening and closing of Throttle valve. Throttle valve plays an important role in LNT regeneration to make mixture lean and rich by controlling intake air flow.
