If not, confirm that vehicle starting issue is not related to Immobilizer. Check whether the ignition is turned On with correct transponder key. Read Immo status from the diagnostic tool, Immo status shall be – ‘Authentication between EMS and IMMO failed / Bad authentication’ && Engine starting disabled by EMS. If Immo status is not as above, then vehicle not starting issue is not related to Immobilizer Trouble Shooting: Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1 Give a battery reset to EMS and IMMO and give a Power latch of 15 secs and then Turn ON ignition. Problem resolved? Confirm that issue resolved and handover vehicle back to customer. Go to next step 2 Perform the Immo pairing using the diagnostic tool. Immo pairing successful? Go to next step Check whether the CAN Communication is healthy. If Yes, replace Immo / EMS and perform the Immo pairing. DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer): After the DTC clearing, vehicle should start, no error in immobilizer & Immo telltale off.
