This document must not be used in any way, such as copying and redistributing to third parties, without our consent  Check the charging circuit; Rectify the charging circuit if faulty.  Check ECU pin no B1, B2,& B4 are getting ground connection and B3, B5, B6 & B41 are connected to battery positive – 12 V supply. Trouble Shooting: Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Is there any rust/oxidization / Sulphation observed on Battery Terminals Clean the Rust or repair. Go to Step 2 2. Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between ECU pins B3, B5, B6 & main Relay supply. Go to Step 3 Establish continuity by rectifying harness connections as per the circuit schematic 3. Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector Replace the connector or wiring harness Go to step 4 4 Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU Connector Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Step 5 5 Is Alternator functioning Go to Step 6 Repair / Replace 6 Are EMS ECU pins B3/B5/B6/B41 Short circuited to GND. Repair the harness as per the schematic Go to Step 7 7 Is Rectifiers in Alternator functioning properly? Repair / Replace Go to Step 8 8 Fault Still Persists? Call Hot Line Follow the steps again for reconfirmation DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer):- Confirmatory check after rectification - Check battery voltage in diagnostic tool at engine idle condition  Reading should be close to 12 V if alternator is not charging.  Reading should be close to 14 V if alternator is charging  Rectify the errors if any & confirm that no any error present in ECU before handed over vehicle to customer
