Is there any rust/oxidization observed on glow plug Terminals Clean the Rust or repair or replace Go to Step 2 2. Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between ECU pins 93 & GP mini relay (40A) pin 86, ECU pin 94 & Glow plug micro Relay (20A) pin 87. Also Check continuity between the Mini relay pin 87 & GP1, GP2, GP3 and micro relay pin 87 & GP4. Go to next step Establish continuity by rectifying harness connections as per the circuit schematic 3. Are there any pins damaged at Glow plug/EMS ECU Connector Replace the connector or wiring harness Go to Next Step 4 Are there any pins backed out from the Glow plug/EMS ECU Connector Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Next Step 5 Is GP mini relay not getting GND at its pin 86 when EMS ECU turns ON the glow plug ? Repair the harness as per the schematic Go to Next Step 6 Is EMS ECU signal Pin 93 or pin 94, open / SC to GND or SC to Batt?. Repair the harness as per the schematic Go to Next Step 7 Is Glow Plug micro relay getting battery supply at its pin 85 ? Go to Next step Repair the harness as per the schematic 8 Is GPIU physically Damaged Replace Glow plug Go to Next Step 9 Fault Still Persists? Replace glow plug and then Fault still persists then Call Hot Line Follow the steps again for reconfirmation DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer): After rectification perform actuator test for Glow plugs and ensure the result is positive Check whether at Ignition ON, Glow plugs are turning on momentarily (Glow Plug lamp will glow at Ignition ON) Confirm that there are no errors logged by EMS before handing over the vehicle to customer.
