Are there any pins damaged at Glow plug/EMS ECU Connector Replace the connector or wiring harness Go to step 4 4 Are there any pins backed out from the Glow plug/EMS ECU Connector Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Step 5 5 Is EMS ECU signal Pin A93 or pin A94 , short circuited to Ground?. Repair the harness as per the schematic Go to Step 6 6 Is glow plug physically Damaged Replace Glow plug Go to Step 7 7 Fault Still Persists? Replace glow plug and then Fault still persists then call hot line Follow the steps again for reconfirmation DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer): After rectification perform actuator test for Glow plugs and ensure the result is positive Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Fly-up with different vehicle speeds also If error present, then rectify the errors. Confirm that there are no errors logged by EMS before handing over vehicle to customer
