This document must not be used in any way, such as copying and redistributing to third parties, without our consent U0121-31: Lost communication with Antilock Braking System Module- ABS/ESP Bus signal/ Message Failure Overview: ISO Code U0121 Customer Symptom ABS will not work, Drag torque control will not happened Fault Effects (On Vehicle) ABS will not work, Drag torque control will not happened Lamp Status (If Any) ABS lamp will be ON Fault Detection Condition 1. ABS connector is not connected properly or disconnected from its location. 2. ABS/ ESP is not powered up 3. ABS/ ESP connector is not connected/ disconnected from vehicle side wiring harness. 4. CAN_H, CAN_L or/ and both lines of ABS/ ESP are opened Normal Operating Condition ECM ECU communicates properly with ABS ECU. Probable Trouble Area 1. Disconnection of the ABS connector 2. CAN_H and CAN_L lines at ABS connector end Healing Condition 1. To fix the ABS connector correctly and Fix the wiring harness issues from ABS side. 2. CAN_H, CAN_L or/ and both lines of ABS are connected properly to the ABS connector.
