Check for any CAN bus related DTC’s Rectify them by Following their rectification Procedure Go to Step 2 2. Check for any Vehicle Speed sensor related faults in Instrument Cluster ECU(Non-ABS vehicle) & in ABS ECU(ABS variant) Rectify them by Following their rectification Procedure Go to Step 3 3. Check for any pin back out at CAN pin 18/19of EMS connector or back out at speed sensor connector pin. Rectify/Replace the Connector Go to Step 4 4. Fault Still Persists? Replace Vehicle Speed Sensor. If fault still persists then replace Ecu Repeat the procedure for Fault Confirmation DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer):- Visually check the speedometer gauge on instrument cluster and vehicle speed signal (with gear information) status at diagnostic tool at different vehicle speed & at different gear conditions Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Flyup with different vehicle speeds also If error present, then rectify the errors. Confirm that there are no errors logged by EMS before handing over vehicle to customer Circuit Schematic Diagram:
