Check whether the EMS ECU is getting power supply and GND Go to step 2 Rectify wiring Harness as per the schematic if found faulty 2. Check whether the Main relay is faulty. Check sensor connections for rust dirt etc., Rectify/Replace if found main relay is faulty and clean the rust or dirt. Go to step 3 3. Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector Replace the connector or wiring harness Go to step 4 4 Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU Connector Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Step 5 5 Fault Still Persists? Replace relay and then if Fault still persists then Replace EMS ECU Follow the steps again for reconfirmation DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer): Visually check the initial pre check at ignition ON for MIL & CEL Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Fly-up with different vehicle speeds also If error present, then rectify the errors. Confirm that there are no errors logged by EMS before handing over vehicle to customer.
