U0100-08 Loss of communication with Engine Control Module- Bus Signal/ Message Failure Overview: ISO Code U0100-08 Customer Symptom Transmission warning lamp will be ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. If vehicle in standstill; it will not crank 2. If in running condition; no gear shift allowed, emergency neutral engagement at low speeds. 3. Creeping Disabled Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission warning lamp will be ON Fault Detection Condition 1. ECM connector is not connected properly or disconnected from its location. 2. CAN wire from ECM connector side is disconnected. 3. ECM is not powered up. 4. CAN_H (25), CAN_L (28) or/ and both lines of TCM are opened. 5. Wrong data length (less than expected data) from EMS ECU Normal Operating Condition TCM ECU communicates properly with ECM ECU Probable Trouble Area 1. Disconnection of the ECM ECU connector 2. CAN_H and CAN_L lines at TCM connector end Healing Condition 1. To fix the ECM connector correctly 2. Fix the wiring harness issues from ECM side. 3. CAN_H, CAN_L or/ and both lines of TCM are connected properly to the TCM connector.
