Insert the 2nd key into barrel within 20 sec from the 1st key removal. o. Read status for number of keys paired with IMMO from DID 443B as 0x02. Jump to step number “x”. Don’t execute following steps. p. Read status for number of keys paired with IMMO from DID 443B. If DID 443B value is 0x00 or 0x01, then jump to step number “q”. If DID 443B value is 0x02, then show “2 keys are already pair with BCM. Hence current keys could not able to pair” message over tool screen and jump to step number “ee” q. Send service request for start erase previous learned keys routine $ 31 01 4F 0D 0A. r. Check Start routine response of the routine (71 01 4F 0D XX YY). Where XX = Status of Routine. 00 – BCMLifeCycleTransponderKey is blank, 01 – BCMLifeCycleTransponderKey is not blank. Where YY = Number of Transponder Keys to be paired. s. Perform Key_Out. Insert the same key into barrel and keep the key position in Accessory. Wait for 2 sec and turn Ignition ON. t. Read status for number of keys paired with IMMO from DID 443B as 0x01. u. Perform Key_Out and remove 1st newly paired key. v. Insert the 2nd key into barrel and keep the key position in Accessory. Wait for 2 sec and turn Ignition ON. (Note: Please do not insert same key (1st Key) again in Key barrel during this time. Insert the 2nd key into barrel within 10 sec from the 1st key removal.) w. Read status for number of keys paired with IMMO from DID 443B as 0x02. x. Power Latch - Ignition->OFF->ON transition. (Make sure is key is taken out). y. Enter into Diagnostic Session = Extended. (Send service request $10 03). z. Unlock the ECU for performing EOL operations i.e. for writing configuration parameters and flashing. Perform the following steps: i. Request Security Access Seed (Send service request $27 07). ii. Process the got 4 byte (XXXX) seed to Produce 4 byte security key. iii. Send the security key to unlock the ECU. (Send service request $27 08 YYYY). aa. Send service request Tester Present. (Send service request $3E 00) bb. Send service request $ 31 01 34 0A. cc. Check Start routine response of the routine (71 01 34 0A XX YY). Where XX = RoutineStatusRecord, RoutineInformation and YY = Response additional data. dd. Read DID 4223 and verify value as 0x01 (Locked). ee. Give ECU reset (Diagnostics Request) ($11 01). Wait for 3 sec after reset. ff. Power Latch - Ignition->OFF->ON transition. (Make sure is key is taken out).
