BRAKE WARNING LIGHT TURNS “ON” AFTER ENGINE START BRAKE WARNING LIGHT TURNS “ON” WHEN BRAKE IS APPLIED BRAKE WARNING LIGHT FAILS TO TURNS “ON” EVEN WHEN PARKING BRAKE IS APPLIED SR.NO. CAUSES REMEDY 1 Low brake fluid level/ Brake Fluid level sensor faulty Check for any faults in wiring harness connecting to Brake fluid level sensor, rectify the issue. If not found faulty, replace the RESERVOIR COLLECTOR KIT. If Brake fluid found low, top-up the Brake fluid with recommended grade of brake fluid. 2 Leakage of brake fluid Investigate and correct leaky point. Add brake fluid 3 Brake warning light circuit faulty Repair circuit 4 EBD System failure Check for DTC set in the iVBAC system and follow the corrective action provided in the TATA diagnostic tool. 5 EPB in Applied state If EPB remains in applied state even if driver tries to release the EPB, check for faults in the IVBAC system and follows the corrective actions provided in the TATA Diagnostic tool. SR.NO. CAUSES REMEDY 1 Leakage of brake fluid Investigate and correct leaky point Add brake fluid 2 Low brake fluid level/ Brake Fluid level sensor faulty. Check for any faults in wiring harness connecting to Brake fluid level sensor, rectify the issue. If not found faulty, replace the RESERVOIR COLLECTOR KIT. If Brake fluid found low, top-up the Brake fluid with recommended grade of brake fluid. SR.NO. CAUSES REMEDY 1 In case of manual parking brake, if the Parking brake lever sensor is faulty. Repair or replace if the Parking brake lever sensor is faulty. 2 If the cluster learning gets disturbed. Redo cluster Self learning using Tata Diagnostic Tool. BRAKES 12
