D. I - VBAC UNIT REMOVAL Following precautions should be carried while working on I - VBAC. 1. Before undertaking any electric arc welding work, disconnect the I - VBAC connector. 2. During paintwork operations or major repair work, which are likely to subjected to higher temperature (above 85° C), The HCU must be removed. 3. Before removing the unit, the battery must be disconnected. 4. Terminals must be fully tightened while installing battery. 5. Electrical wiring not to be repaired (should be replaced). REMOVAL 1. Ensure that Vehicle Battery is connected and the 46 pin IVBAC connector is connected to the IVBAC system. 2. Turn ON the vehicle ignition to “READY” state. 3. Plug in Tata Diagnostic Service (TDS) tool and activate “Assembly Mode” on IVBAC. 4. Turn OFF the ignition switch. 5. Open the hood (bonnet) of the vehicle 6. Disconnect battery terminals. 7. Remove Frunk Assembly. 8. Open fluid reservoir cap. 9. Remove the hose pipe fluid reservoir to I - VBAC Unit and drain the brake fluid.
