P3052 - 18: - PLC Chip-EVSE minimum current is above EV current demand - circuit current below threshold Overview: ISO Code P3052 - 18 Customer Symptom Vehicle would not go into charging mode in fast charging Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable and slow charging is possible but DC Fast charging will not happen Lamp Status (If Any) Vehicle charging symbol is not seen when fast charging gun is plugged in vehicle charging inlet socket Fault Detection Condition HV Battery minimum current demand is higher than what EVSE can supply Normal Operating Condition HV Battery actual current demand is less than what EVSE can supply Probable Trouble Area EVSE charger Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory Component Details: DC fast charger enables to charge the High voltage battery. Preliminary Checks: • Disconnect the gun. • Switch off the vehicle. • Put the vehicle in Ignition. Clear DTCs. • Again, try DC fast charging. • If charging is not happening, Read DTC. If same DTC appears check EVSE charger displaying any fault Trouble Shooting: - 1. Remove the LV battery connections. Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1. Check for EVSE Charger side DTCs. Connect EVSE Charger side diagnostic tool to the charger and check if any DTC's present Clear DTC's on charger and check again Restart the charging station and check again DTC’s confirmation: -
