P3063 - 11: - Reverse Lamp - circuit short to ground Overview: ISO Code P3063 - 11 Customer Symptom Reverse lamp would not glow during reverse Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Vehicle is drivable and charging will happen. Lamp Status (If Any) No lamp indication Fault Detection Condition During Drive mode when Reverse mode is engaged, Reverse lamp does not glow Normal Operating Condition During Drive mode when Reverse mode is engaged, Reverse lamp glows Probable Trouble Area Reverse lamp wiring harness Healing Condition If DTC is healed, DTC is present only in memory. Component Details: Reverse lamp indication is used to indicate that the vehicle is engaged in the Reverse mode. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between the VECU pin and the Reverse lamp connector. 2. Check for any damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and the Reverse lamp connector. 3. Visually inspect Reverse lamp for any damage. Trouble Shooting: - 1. Remove the LV battery connections. Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1 Remove the LV connector of Reverse Lamp Check continuity between Chassis and HSD pin of Reverse Lamp side. Problem is in the Reverse Lamp side. Action: Replace the Reverse Lamp side and Go to step 1. Go to Step 2 2 Remove VCU side and Reverse Lamp side LV connectors Check if there is continuity between chassis and LSD pin of harness side actuator connector Problem in the wiring between the Reverse Lamp connector and VCU connector. Go to Step 3
