This document must not be used in anyway, such as copying and redistributing to third parties, without the consent of author. 1 Check for LV battery voltage Check if the LV battery voltage is > 10V Go to step 2 Problem is with LV battery being discharged. Action: Charge LV battery to 12V 2 Remove the fuse of BCM Check if the fuse is of the correct rating No problem in BCM fuse Go to Step 3 Problem is in BCM fuse. Action: Replace the fuse with correct rating 3 Remove the fuse of BCM Check if the fuse is blown or not Problem is in BCM fuse. Action: Replace the fuse No problem in BCM fuse Go to Step 4 4 Remove the LV connector of BCM Check if there is continuity between BCM connector pin CAN H and CAN L Check for damage in BCM connector Action: Replace BCM No problem in BCM side LV connector Go to step 5. 5 Remove the LV connector of BCM Check if there is continuity between BCM side LV connector pin CAN H and CAN L Check for damage in connector pin/LV harness Action: Replace the pins/ terminals or replace the LV harness No problem in BCM side LV connector Go to step 6. 6 If there are any inline connectors, remove each of them Check if there is continuity between consecutive connector’s pin CAN H and CAN L Problem is in BCM to VCU wiring harness inline connectors Action: Change BCM to VCU inline wiring harness No problem in wiring between the inline connectors Go to Step 7
