Check for the LV wiring harness connection between VCU and GSS ECU on Vehicle CAN network as per the details given in LV schematic. 3. Remove the LV battery connections. Step no. Description Check Point if YES if NO 1 Check for LV battery voltage Check if the LV battery voltage is > 10V Go to step 2 Problem is with LV battery being discharged. Action: Charge LV battery to 12V 2 Remove the LV connector of GSS Check if there is continuity between GSS connector pin CAN H and CAN L Check for damage in GSS connector Action: Replace GSS No problem in GSS side LV connector Go to step 3. 3 Remove the LV connector of GSS Check if there is continuity between GSS side LV connector pin CAN H and CAN L Check for damage in connector pin/LV harness Action: Replace the pins/ terminals or replace the LV harness No problem in GSS side LV connector Go to step 4. 4 If there are any inline connectors, remove each of them Check if there is continuity between consecutive connector’s pin CAN H and CAN L Problem is in GSS to VCU wiring harness inline connectors Action: Change GSS to VCU inline wiring harness No problem in wiring between the inline connectors Go to Step 5 5 Remove the LV connector of VECU Check if there is continuity between VECU side connector pin CAN H and CAN L Check for damage in VECU connector Action: Replace VECU side connector No problem in VECU side LV connector Go to step 6.
