U132B - 08: - Lost Communication with compressor module - Bus Signal / Message Failures Overview: ISO Code (If applicable) U132B-08 Customer Symptom Customer will observe air conditioning is not functioning. Charging will not happen Fault Effect (On Vehicle) Air conditioning will not work, HV battery may get heated. Charging will not happen Lamp Status (If Any) If temperature of battery is reached above operable threshold, battery over-heat tell-tale is seen on cluster. Normal Operating Condition Proper CAN communication normal between compressor and VCU Probable Trouble Area LV wiring Harness GSS signal connector/terminals GSS unit Healing Condition Disconnect the compressor and connect it back after VCU sleeps Normal Operating Condition Proper CAN communication normal between compressor and VCU Component Details: The compressor is the power unit of the air-conditioning system that puts the refrigerant under high pressure before it pumps it into the condenser, where it changes from a gas to a liquid.A fully functioning compressor is necessary for the air-conditioning system to provide peak performance. Compressor helps in cooling the air which is then circulated to cool the air inside the car cabin, and High Voltage battery packs. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for proper terminal connection of 12V LV Battery 2. Check LV Battery voltage to be in range (7.5V - 14V) 3. Check LV Supply Connection of compressor for damage (connectors, terminals bending & rusting of pins) 4. Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between compressor and VCU 5. Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections between compressor and VCU Trouble Shooting: - 1. Check for the Compressor ECU supply pin and ignition pin connection from LV battery to ECU.
