Confirm the AES_SK code from BCM-PEPS ECU as identical. 19. Configure and pair the keys with LIN based IMMO BCM using following steps (Note : - in case of CAN based IMMO (with VICM ECU) and PEPS ECU present, then skip this step (19) and go to step number 20 (Configure the BCM ECU (parameterization of BCM ECU))). : - a. Select “Pairing” main option from TDS Tool. Give ECU reset (Diagnostics Request) ($11 01). Wait for 3 sec after reset. b. Enter into Diagnostic Session = Extended. (Send service request $10 03). c. Unlock the ECU for performing EOL operations i.e. for writing configuration parameters and flashing. Perform the following steps: i. Request Security Access Seed (Send service request $27 07). ii. Process the got 4 byte (XXXX) seed to Produce 4 byte security key. iii. Send the security key to unlock the ECU. (Send service request $27 08 YYYY). d. Send service request Tester Present. (Send service request $3E 00) e. Before writing check whether AES_SK is locked for writing or not, send service request: ($22 42 23) and read the response. If response is ‘01’ i.e. 62 42 23 01 then unlocking of AES_SK is required before writing. Else if response is ‘00’ i.e. 62 42 23 00 then start writing AES_SK key immediately. f. To write AES_SK code, Send service request: ($2E 42 22 XXXX). XXXX - This represents 16 bytes AES_SK value which is to be written in the ECU. g. Get Tool generated ASK-Key value as per VIN number and write into DID 4222, Send service request: ($2E 42 22 XXXX). Note: - Just compare once ASK-key value with EMS once as it is same. h. Select “Replacement” main option from TDS Tool. Perform the parameterization as per vehicle variant with the help of diagnostic tool. i. Select “IMMO Transponder Key Learning” option from Routine Test main option. Read and verify that LIN IMMO Function is enabled using DID 444C value as 0x01. j. Check Odometer value as less than 250KM, then execute steps from “next i.e. k” for Auto Key pairing for IMMO, else if odometer value is equal and greater than 250KM then jump to step number “p” for Diagnostic routine Key pairing for IMMO. k. Give ECU reset (Diagnostics Request) ($11 01). Wait for 1 sec after reset. l. After hard reset the 1st key inside the barrel will be auto paired, while LIN IMMO Function is enabled. m. Read status for number of keys paired with IMMO from DID 443B as 0x01. n. Remove the 1st key from key barrel. Insert the 2nd key into barrel and keep the key position in Accessory. Wait for 2 sec and turn Ignition ON.
