Skip step number 20 (Configure the BCM ECU (parameterization of BCM ECU)) and go to step number 21 (Learn the RKE (remote key)). 20. Configure the BCM ECU (parameterization of BCM ECU) with following steps a. Turn the IGN ON again and Unlock security to BCM ECU. b. Perform the parameterization as per vehicle variant with the help of diagnostic tool. c. Provide BCM ECU reset (service $11 01) and wait for 1 second. d. Power Latch - Ignition->OFF->ON transition. (Make sure is key is taken out). e. Read and confirm configuration data from BCM against server. 21. Learn the RKE (remote key) as per below mentioned procedure (NOTE: This step is NA to vehicle trims where PEPS is present). a. Send Service request to start the routine $31 01 34 0E XX XX XX = Request additional data. b. Check Start routine response of the routine 71 01 34 0E YY YY = RoutineStatusRecord, RoutineInformation c. Send Service request to get the Routine results $31 03 34 0E d. Check the Routine results response 71 03 34 0E ZZ ZZ ZZ = Response additional data. 22. Repeat all steps for each number of key pairing and the status shall be display over tool with respective to the Routine result response description mentioned in the document BCM Specific Diagnostic Specification. 23. Read the DTCs and clear all the DTCs from BCM ECU with the help of diagnostic tool. 24. Provide IGN off-on cycle.
