Replace the LIN based Immo barrel with new set of keys (in case loss of any keys and faulty barrel) from steering wheel column. ii. Insert One key into barrel and perform Ignition ON. iii. Give ECU reset (Diagnostics Request) ($11 01). Wait for 3 sec after reset. iv. Enter into Diagnostic Session = Extended. (Send service request $10 03). v. Unlock the ECU for performing EOL operations i.e. for writing configuration parameters and flashing. Perform the following steps: i. Request Security Access Seed (Send service request $27 07). ii. Process the got 4 byte (XXXX) seed to Produce 4 byte security key. iii. Send the security key to unlock the ECU. (Send service request $27 08 YYYY). vi. Send service request Tester Present. (Send service request $3E 00) vii. Read and verify that LIN IMMO Function is enabled using DID 444C value as 0x01. Otherwise come out of the service. viii. Read status for number of keys paired with IMMO from DID 443B as 0x02. ix. Select “IMMO Transponder Key Erase” option from Routine Test main option. Send service request for start erase previous learned keys routine $ 31 01 4F 02. x. Check Start routine response of the routine (71 01 4F 02 XX). Where XX = Response Additional Data. Value of XX will be 0x00 (Transponders Erase Unsuccessful) or 0x01 (Transponders Erase Successful). xi. If erase previous learned keys routine response received as unsuccessful, then execute step number viii. Otherwise go to next step. xii. Select “IMMO Transponder Key Learning” option from Routine Test main option. Read status for number of keys paired with IMMO from DID 443B as 0x00. xiii. Send service request for start erase previous learned keys routine $ 31 01 4F 0D 0A. xiv. Check Start routine response of the routine (71 01 4F 0D XX YY). Where XX = Status of Routine. 00 – BCMLifeCycleTransponderKey is blank, 01 – BCMLifeCycleTransponderKey is not blank. Where YY = Number of Transponder Keys to be paired. xv. Perform Key_Out. Insert the same key into barrel and keep the key position in Accessory. Wait for 2 sec and turn Ignition ON. xvi. Read status for number of keys paired with IMMO from DID 443B as 0x01. xvii. Perform Key_Out and remove 1st newly paired key. xviii. Insert the 2nd key into barrel and keep the key position in Accessory. Wait for 2 sec and turn Ignition ON. (Note: Please do not insert same key (1st Key) again in Key barrel during this time. Insert the 2nd key into barrel within 10 sec from the 1st key removal.)
