Trouble Shooting:- DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, ensure the following points before handing over the system to the customer. 1. Do the ignition ON & Off and check the communication errors by reading DTC’s from IPC. 2. Check the communication status between IPC & VICM in vehicle driving condition also. Turn ON Ignition. Connect the TML Diagnostic Tool. Check the status of DTC’s (Memorized/Current) Record the DTC & Clear DTC’s Turn Ignition OFF & ON Verify If DTC B1936 -56 is present Is DTC B1936-56 is Present? Check for continuity of CAN lines between IPC & VICM. Check VICM power supply & working properly. Is problem with VICM? CAN communication or VICM ECU is not working properly. Rectify Fault at wiring Harness to recover the fault. Clear the DTC & verify the function of Odometer on display by running the vehicle. Clear the DTC from the ECU memory. Turn Ignition OFF & ON. Check whether same DTC is coming again or not. Stop Stop YES NO YES NO Stop
