P a g e | 140 U0422-81 :- Invalid Data Received From Body Control Module Overview: ISO Code U0422-81 Customer Symptom None Fault Effects (On Vehicle) ABS, EBD & ESC – Available, AVH, HHC, APB – Not available Lamp Status (If Any) ABS – OFF, EBD – OFF, ESC – OFF , AVH- ON, APB - ON Fault Detection Condition Incorrect data received from BCM ECU Signal internal problem Normal Operating Condition BCM ECU sends correct data in normal condition. Probable Trouble Area BCM ECU and its interface circuits and sensors Healing Condition After rectifying all the functional failures in the BCM ECU. Preliminary Check: 1. Check resistance in Diagnostic CAN pin no. 6 and 14. It should be 120 Ω. 2. Check DTCs IN BCM ECU, take actions as per DTCs found to resolve the issue. 3. Read IVN DTCs in I VBAC ECU in IGN ON condition. Note: After rectification please give Ignition latch to heal the DTC.
