Nexon_WPCF ECU Service guide and replacement procedure 4. WPCF ECU Assembly Replacement Procedure 4.1. Pre-checks/tasks to be done before replacing the WPCF ECU Assembly After performing all the necessary checks as per the troubleshooting guide please check for circuit short to ground, circuit short to battery or open circuit etc. in IPC DTC and If no root cause is found i.e. fault is not rectified, then follow the below replacement procedure. 4.2. ECU Assembly replacement procedure PREQUISITE: 1) Vehicle battery shall be more than 9V 2) Instrument Cluster shall be functional. 3) Vehicle configuration data shall be available on the server. 4) New WPCF ECU assembly shall be available for replacement. PROCEDURE: 1) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal of the battery. 2) Locate the WPCF ECU. (Refer below figure for location of the WPCF ECU).
