U0037 - 13: - Vehicle Communication Bus B - circuit open Overview: ISO Code U0037 - 13 Customer Symptom HV Critical Alert Tell-tale is seen blinking on cluster. Vehicle may not respond as per the inputs given by driver. Charging is disabled Fault Effects (On Vehicle) VECU cannot communicate on Vehicle CAN network. Vehicle will not be driveable and if vehicle is in running condition, it will go from Drive to Neutral. Air conditioning and charging may not be possible. Vehicle may not be able to crank in the next Ignition cycle if error is in confirmed state. Lamp Status (If Any) HV critical lamp Blinking Fault Detection Condition Open circuit at Vehicle CAN network Normal Operating Condition Vehicle CAN communication is healthy Probable Trouble Area LV wiring Harness Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory. Component Details: Vehicle Electronic Control Unit (VECU) is responsible to control the Powertrain components and communicate with other ECUs as per the inputs received from user/driver for vehicle drivability. Preliminary Checks: Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections to VCU. Trouble Shooting: - Check for the LV wiring harness connection between VCU and all the components connected on Vehicle CAN network as per the details given in LV schematic. DTC’s confirmation: - After rectification, ensure the following points by referring to VCU DID list using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. Ensure vehicle is in Crank mode. Gear selector knob is in neutral position
