(Refer schematic for details) Check for the connector pin backout for connectors C295 and C001JM. Problem is in the connector Action: Repair the harness connector and Go to step 1. Go to Step 7 7. Check for the continuity Check if there is continuity between C001JM Pin 18 and accelerator pedal side LV connector C295 Pin 5. Continuity present? No problem in wiring. Go to Step 8 Problem is in the harness Action: Repair the harness and Go to step 1. 8. Remove VCU side and sensor side LV connectors i.e. C776A (Refer schematic for details) Check for the connector pin backout for connectors C776A and C001JF. Check if there is continuity between VCU connector C776A Pin 25 and connector C001JF Pin 18 No problem in the wiring between the sensor connector and VCU connector. Problem is in the harness Action: Repair the harness and Go to step 1. 9. Connect all the inline connectors between VCU and sensor and check for end to end continuity. Check if there is a continuity between VCU connector C776A Pin 25 and the accelerator pedal sensor’s input pin 6. (Connector C295- pin 6). Connection is okay Go to step 10 Check for harness damage. 10. Connect the LV battery connections. Switch vehicle to ignition ON mode Check for the fault code using TML diagnostic tool. If P3006 -14 is present? Go back to step 2 Repair complete
