P3009 -15: - Power Distribution Unit Negative Busbar Thermistor - circuit short to battery or open Overview: ISO Code P3009-15 Customer Symptom The vehicle is drivable as per driver inputs. No effect on vehicle drive ability Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable as per driver inputs. No effect on vehicle drive ability Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition Short to battery is detected by the vehicle controller, when the analog input of temperature sensor to the VCU is greater than the threshold value of the sensor. Normal Operating Condition PDU busbar temperature sensor value is within the operating range. Probable Trouble Area LV wiring Harness PDU temperature sensor mounting on busbar Powertrain VCU connector Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory. However, cluster indication will be ON till one drive cycle of vehicle, until DTC is cleared using tester tool. Component Details: Negative Busbar thermistor transmits temperature of Negative busbar to Vehicle controller unit. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between VCU and PDU LV connector 2. Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and PDU LV connector 3. Visually inspect PDU for damage
