P3030 - 11: - E-Drive Contactor Low Side activation line - circuit short to ground Overview: ISO Code P3030 - 11 Customer Symptom Vehicle is operable with reduced power with limp home telltale indication blinking on cluster. Charging will be disabled. HV Critical Alert Tell-tale is ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Vehicle speed will be limited to 50 kmph. Air conditioning and charging are disabled. Lamp Status (If Any) HV Critical Alert telltale ON EV Limp home telltale blinking on Cluster Fault Detection Condition E-Drive Contactor Low Side activation line short circuit to ground Normal Operating Condition E drive contactor operates as per command given by VCU Probable Trouble Area LV wiring Harness PDU LV connector Inside PDU Powertrain VCU connector Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory. However, cluster indication will be ON till one drive cycle of vehicle, until DTC is cleared using tester tool. Component Details: E drive contactor is present in Power Distribution Unit and is used to enable and disable HV voltage to E-drive as per command given by VCU. Preliminary Checks:
