P3034 – 12: - E-Drive ignition activation line - circuit short to battery Overview: ISO Code P3034- 12 Customer Symptom HV Critical Alert Tell-tale is glowing on the cluster Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable as per driver inputs. No effect on vehicle drive ability. E-drive control receives LV supply continuously. Lamp Status (If Any) HV critical lamp ON on cluster Fault Detection Condition MCU Ignition Wake Up short circuit to battery Normal Operating Condition Motor Control Unit receives LV supply when vehicle ignition is given Probable Trouble Area LV wiring Harness Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory. Component Details: E drive receives LV battery supply from the VCU. Preliminary Checks: 1. Loose connection of LV wiring harness between VCU and actuator 2. Damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and actuator Trouble Shooting: - 1. Remove the LV battery connections. Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1 Remove the LV connector of PDU Check continuity between supply pin and LSD pin of PDU LV connector Problem is in the PDU. Action: Replace PDU and Go to step 1. Go to Step 2
