P3068 - 04: - CCS DC Fast Charging – Positive or Negative (one) contactor welded Overview: ISO Code P3068-04 Customer Symptom Vehicle is operable. Charging will take place. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) NA Lamp Status (If Any) No indication Fault Detection Condition When DC Fast charging contactor weld is detected Normal Operating Condition During normal operating condition during DC fast charging VCU enables these contactors. So that supply from outside charging station get connected with HV battery. Probable Trouble Area PDU HV connector Inside PDU Healing Condition NA Component Details: DC fast charging has 2 contactors inside PDU on both positive and negative busbars. VCU enables these contactors during normal operating condition. When fast charging gun is connected to inlet VCU will enable these contactors based on vehicle charge and health condition. Preliminary Checks: • Check for High voltage between DC positive and negative terminal of charging socket. • Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between VCU and PDU LV connector • Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and PDU LV connector • Check for CCS2 charging cable which connects to PDU. • Visually inspect PDU for damage Trouble Shooting: - 1. Remove the LV battery connections.
