Vehicle Platform: F4 (Bolt) / F5 ( Zest) / TIAGO / TIGOR / EAGLE/OSPREY/Q5/X451 ECU Name: Hella Body Control Module (BCM) ECU Replacement Procedure Version: 3.5 Date: 27-Jan-2020 Author: BCM CoC Page: 27 of 34 RPAS Sensor replacement procedure in service  Keep Ignition OFF.  Remove the rear bumper of the car.  Remove the sensor from the mounting bracket fixed on the inside of the Bumper.  Remove the sensor from the wiring harness connector.  Replace the existing sensor with a new one (Compare the Sensor Part number from the Sensor label of both the sensors. The new sensor should have the same Part number as per the existing sensor label in the vehicle)  Connect the wiring harness connector to the sensor. Please ensure the correct fitment of the wiring harness connectors. Please ensure the locking sound for the connector.  Fix the sensor in the mounting bracket fixed on the Bumper.  Mount the Bumper on the vehicle.  If only the slave sensor (as mentioned on the label of the sensor) has been replaced, the procedure ends here. But, if master sensor (as mentioned on the label of the sensor) has been replaced then continue to the next step.  Connect the Service tool to vehicle OBD connector.  Check for DTC’s in the BCM ECU. Ensure there is no logged DTC against sensor.  Turn Ignition OFF-ON.  Reset BCM using 11 01service. Wait for one sec after BCM reset.
