TPMS ECU learning procedure Prerequisite: A) All TPMS Sensors and TPMS ECU to be learnt shall be available. B) Check and verify part number of the TPMS ECU. It shall be 550254800102. Why ECU Learning is needed? 1) ECU is not having the respective Tyre sensor ID with in its memory as it is recently flashed with updated software. This can be confirmed by reading DID for respective tyre by using Diagnostic Tool. The respective DID are as follows:  6408: TPMS Front Left Tyre ID  6409: TPMS Front Right Tyre ID  640A: TPMS Rear Right Tyre ID  640B: TPMS Rear Left Tyre ID  640C: TPMS Spare Tyre ID NOTE: Total numbers of TPMS Sensors to be learnt are considered as 5. TPMS learning can be done through two ways: a) Visit nearest dealer / TATA authorised Service Outlet where service engineer will perform this by using Triggering tools. Triggering tool is hold near the tire of which Sensor ID to be found out. This is done for all tires including spare. Once all tire IDs are known using LF tool, they are written in ECU using Diagnostic tools. The respective DIDs are as given above. (DID 64XX)
