CONTROLLED COPY FOR RESTRICTED CIRCULATION © TATA MOTORS LTD. 3) Remove the TPMS ECU connector (Refer Figure 2 for TPMS connector). 4) Remove the old TPMS ECU from bracket. 5) Fix the new TPMS ECU on bracket. 6) Connect the TPMS ECU connector into their respective socket. 7) Ensure that connector is fitted tightly and properly. 8) Connect the battery. 9) Connect the diagnostic tool to OBD connector. 10) Flash the vehicle specific calibration file uploaded on server. NOTE: Please refer TPMS service diagnostics specification for calibration file flashing procedure. 11) Read the following ECU Part numbers and compare with the server. a) Vehicle Manufacturer Spare Part Number ($22 F1 87). b) ECU Application Software Number ($22 72 41). c) Application Software Identification ($22 F1 81). 12) Enter into diagnostic session extended and unlock security to TPMS ECU (This is an essential step, without unlocking the security access further steps will not be executed). 13) Write the VIN and VC. NOTES: Always provide ECU reset before reading VC number 14) Execute TPMS EOL Self-test routine. Refer latest TPMS ESDS for detailed procedure. 15) Read the DTCs from TPMS ECU with the help of diagnostic tool. If any DTC is present follow the respective troubleshooting procedure to rectify the fault. 16) Check the customer reported fault, whether it is rectified. 17) If the fault is rectified, disconnect the OBD connector and diagnostic tool.
