P307D - 87 :- BMS current sensor charging third level fault Overview: ISO Code P307D - 87 Customer Symptom Charging will cut off Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No charging Lamp Status (If Any) HV Fault on cluster Fault occurrence scenario (In the order of probability) Any operation Normal Operating Condition No fault Probable Trouble Area Internal to BMS hardware and software Healing Condition NA System Details: Slave hardware is located internal to the pack and communicates to host also internal to the pack. This communication is not supposed to be lost throughout pack life. If in any condition current sensor stops sending current value to BMS while charging this fault appears. i.e.Over current detection, supply voltage out off range and hardware fault. Preliminary Checks: 1) Ensure the vehicle is parked, not in charging and that the vehicle is in ignition ON condition 2) Check the LV battery voltage. It should be atleast greater than 10V. 3) If LV battery is discharged fully below 10V, ensure to charge back the LV battery to >12V as per respective standard procedure and re-install on vehicle. Inspection Method: Connect the tool and communicate to the battery pack as instructed through APPENDIX-C Read DTC information of DTC ID – P307D - 87 Rectification Action: 1) If DTC is appearing in real time, clear DTC information through service tool 2) If DTC is not appearing in real-time but has only occurred before, store the snapshot data. store the snapshot data. 3) Clear the DTC information on the respective DTC ID. DTC’s confirmation: After clearing, ensure the following points by referring to BMS DTC list. 1) Read DTC ID – P307D - 87 for the existence of DTC information. 2) If DTC still exists, reflash the battery pack using the service tool with the latest release SW available in PLM database. 3) Read DTC ID – P307D - 87 or the existence of DTC information post flashing. 4) If DTC still exists, the HV battery pack component has to be replaced as instructed by the respective ECU replacement guide Component Location & Image; Connector Location; Connector View & Information: - APPENDIX-A
