P30B9 - 13 :- BMS HW Crash Line is Open - Circuit Open Overview: ISO Code P30B9 - 13 Customer Symptom NA Fault Effects (On Vehicle) NA Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault occurrence scenario (In the order of probability) Any opeating condition Normal Operating Condition No fault Probable Trouble Area 1.Hardwire crash signal Line from crash airbag ECU to Battery. 2.Battery internal harness. 3.Crash airbag and battery ECU Healing Condition NA System Details: Crash Airbag ECU continuously sends signal to BMS. This fault occurs when the signal is not received by the BMS. Preliminary Checks: 1) Ensure the vehicle is parked and not in charging. 2) Ensure that the vehicle is in ignition ON condition and monitor the DTCs. 3) If relevant DTC is identified follow the probable trouble area for issue identification. Inspection Method: Connect the tool and communicate to the battery pack as instructed through APPENDIX-C Read DTC information of DTC ID – P30B9 - 13. If DTC is identified check the continuity of hardwire crash signal. Rectification Action: 1) If DTC is appearing in real time, clear DTC information through service tool 2) If DTC is not appearing in real-time but has only occurred before, store the snapshot data. 3) Clear the DTC information on the respective DTC ID. DTC’s confirmation: After clearing, ensure the following points by referring to BMS DTC list. 1) Read DTC ID – P30B9 - 13 for the existence of DTC information. 2) If DTC still exists, re-flash the battery pack using the service tool with the latest release SW available in PLM database. 3) Read DTC ID – P30B9 - 13 or the existence of DTC information post flashing. 4) If DTC still exists, the HV battery pack component has to be replaced as instructed by the respective ECU replacement guide Component Location & Image; Connector Location; Connector View & Information: - APPENDIX-A
