APPENDIX-C: TOOL CONNECTION AND COMMUNICATION The image below shows the OBD2 port which is available in the vehicle just below the steering wheel. The Samtec HS Light II or Vconnect tool is connected to the vehicle OBD2 port with the OBD2 to DB15 harness, and the tool is connected to the laptop via USB to operate TDS software. After connecting the above, open TDS for Passenger vehicles and select the appropriate vehicle details and click on next.
