P3003 -14: - Accelerator Pedal Sensor 1- circuit short to ground or open circuit Overview: ISO Code P3003-14 Customer Symptom Vehicle is operable with reduced power Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable with reduced power in drive mode even after accelerator pedal is completely pressed by driver. Vehicle speed will be limited to 50 kmph Lamp Status (If Any) EV Limp home telltale blinking, Service Lamp telltale blinking Fault Detection Condition Short to ground is detected by the vehicle controller, when the analog input of accelerator pedal sensor 1 to the VCU is less than the lower threshold value of the sensor. Normal Operating Condition Accelerator pedal sensor input is within the operating range and vehicle response is according to the percentage of accelerator pedal pressed by the driver. Probable Trouble Area LV wiring Harness Accelerator pedal sensor connector Accelerator pedal sensor assembly on pedal Powertrain VCU connector Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory. However, cluster indication will be ON till one drive cycle of vehicle, until DTC is cleared using tester tool.
