P3006- 29: - Accelerator Pedal Sensor 2 - signal invalid Overview: ISO Code P3006-29 Customer Symptom Vehicle is operable with reduced power Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable with reduced power in drive mode even after accelerator pedal is completely pressed by driver. Vehicle speed will be limited to 50 kmph Lamp Status (If Any) EV Limp home telltale blinking, Service Lamp telltale blinking Fault Detection Condition The signal invalid error comes up when the voltage received at the VCU does not lie in the normal operating range. Normal Operating Condition Vehicle controller senses voltage which lies in the operating range of the sensor. Probable Trouble Area LV wiring Harness Accelerator pedal sensor connector Accelerator pedal sensor assembly on pedal Powertrain VCU connector Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory. However, cluster indication will be ON till one drive cycle of vehicle, until DTC is cleared using tester tool. Component Details: Accelerator pedal sensor transmits the position of the accelerator pedal to the Vehicle Control Unit. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between VCU and sensor 2. Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and sensor
