Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1. Examine the wiring connections to the sensor Check for LV loose connections and cuts Repair or replace the wiring harness Go to step 2 2. Check if any other DTC of P3016 is present DTC present? Go to Step 3 Check if DTC related to and P3017 is present. Go to corresponding troubleshooting. 3. Remove the LV connector of sensor side and VCU side connector to check continuity Check if there is continuity between 1. Vehicle inlet connector C448A Pin 2 and VCU connector C776A Pin 51 2. Vehicle inlet connector C448A Pin 3 and VCU connector C776A Pin 15 Go to Step 4 Problem is in the harness Action: Repair the harness and Go to step 3. 4. Check for any short in circuit Check if there is a continuity between C776 Pin 51 Pin No. of VCU and the LV battery or in Pin K51 and Chassis NOTE: Recheck that LV battery is NOT connected and no power supply to be Problem is in the harness Action: Repair the harness and Go to step 4 Go to Step 5
