ID and Go to step 1 4 Read the vehicle parameter - Battery cooling pump PWM Duty cycle (DID No: 3437) Check whether value is 93. Let the pump to run for 1min and Go to step 5. Go to step 1 5 Check if pump is running. If pump stops abruptly, go to step 1. Repeat the process 3 times Check if pump is running okay If the pump is following the request, conclude that Issue is resolved Replace BCS Pump Removed the LV battery connection Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1 Remove the LV connector of Pump Check continuity between ground pin and Pump signal connector Pin C778 Pin 1 and C778 Pin 2 Problem is in the Pump, internal short to battery. Action: Replace the Pump and Go to step 1. Go to Step 2 2 Remove VCU side and Pump side LV connectors Check if there is continuity between ground pin and Pump pin of harness side connector Problem in the wiring between the Pump connector and VCU connector. Go to Step 3 3 If there are any inline connectors, remove each of them Check if there is continuity between ground pin and Pump signal pin of consecutive connectors for C778 Pin 2. Problem in wiring between the inline connectors Action: change LV wiring harness connector and repeat step 3 Go to Step 4 4 Check if power ground pin short with Pump signal pin C778-2 Check if there is continuity between VCU ground and Pump signal pin in harness side VCU Problem is in VCU side LV wiring harness connector Go to step 5
