P302E - 11: - HV Battery Keep alive relay activation line - circuit short to ground Overview: ISO Code P302E - 11 Customer Symptom HV Critical Alert Tell-tale is glowing on the cluster Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable as per driver inputs. No effect on vehicle drive ability Lamp Status (If Any) HV critical lamp ON, on the cluster Fault Detection Condition Shorting of HV Battery Keep alive relay activation line to ground Normal Operating Condition Vehicle is cranking Probable Trouble Area LV wiring Harness Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory. However, cluster indication will be ON till one drive cycle of vehicle, until DTC is cleared using tester tool. Component Details: HV Battery is the energy storage system of the electric vehicle and primary functions are to provide power during drive and accept power during charging. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for proper terminal connection of 12V LV Battery 2. Check LV Battery voltage to be in range (9 V - 14V) 3. Check LV Supply Connection of HV battery for damage (connectors, terminals bending & rusting of pins) 4. Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between HV battery and VCU HV Battery HV Battery Keep alive relay 12V LV Battery LV Signal from VCU
