Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1 Remove the LV connector of E-drive and VCU side connector Check for pin backout / LV connector damage Problem is in the harness Action: Replace harness and Go to step 1. Go to Step 2 2 Remove the LV connector of E-drive and VCU side connector Check if there is continuity between supply pin and VCU pin these connectors C776A Pin 53 or C446A short to battery? Problem in the wiring between E-drive connector and VCU connector. Go to Step 3 3 If there are any inline connectors, remove each of them Check if there is continuity between supply pin and VCU pin of consecutive connectors Problem in wiring between the inline connectors Action: change LV wiring harness connector and repeat step 3 Go to Step 4 4 Check if power supply pin short with E-drive ignition pin Check if there is continuity between VCU supply and VCU pin in harness side VCU connector Problem is in VCU side LV wiring harness connector Action: change LV wiring harness connector and repeat step 4 Go to step 5 5 Remove the VCU connector. Check if there is a continuity between K53 Pin No. of VCU and the VCU supply pin Problem in VCU connector or VCU. (Change VCU connector or VCU) TBD Action: Go to step 5 DTC’s confirmation: - After rectification, ensure that DTC is not present in VCU memory using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer.
