Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1 Remove the LV connector of E-drive and VCU side connector Check continuity between Chassis and VCU pin E-drive LV connector. Problem is in the E-drive internal Action: Replace the HV battery and Go to step 1. Go to Step 2 2 Remove VCU side and Edrive side LV connectors Check if there is continuity between chassis and VCU pin of harness side actuator connector Problem in the wiring between the HV battery connector and VCU connector. Go to Step 3 3 If there are any inline connectors, remove each of them Check if there is continuity between chassis and VCU pin of consecutive connectors Problem in wiring between the inline connectors Action: change LV wiring harness connector and repeat step 3 Go to Step 4 4 Check if chassis is short with E-drive Ignition pin Check if there is continuity between chassis and E-drive pin in harness side VCU connector Problem is in VCU side LV wiring harness connector Action: change LV wiring harness connector and repeat step 4 Go to step 5 5 Remove the VCU connector. Check if there is a continuity between pin K53 of VCU and the chassis Problem in VCU connector or VCU. (Change VCU connector or VCU) TBD Action: Go to step 5 DTC’s confirmation: - After rectification, ensure that DTC is not present in VCU memory using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer.
