P2403 - 92: - VCU Internal Error - performance or incorrect operation Overview: ISO Code P2403 - 92 Customer Symptom No symptoms Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No effect on vehicle functionality. VCU needs further investigation Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition VCU shutdown time more than expected (600secs). Or VCU maximum prolongation is exceeded (24 Hrs). Normal Operating Condition VECU functions normally for vehicle drivability. Probable Trouble Area Vehicle Control Unit Hardware This DTC is VCU internal function DTC for information purpose. Healing Condition NA Component Details: Vehicle Electronic Control Unit (VECU) is responsible to control the Powertrain components as per the inputs received from user/driver for vehicle drivability. Preliminary Checks: The above DTC is triggered if VCU shutdown time more than expected (600secs) or VCU maximum prolongation is exceeded (24 Hrs). This is internal error of Vehicle Control Unit Hardware. Trouble Shooting: - Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1 Read DTC using tool again Check for any other DTC for VCU internal system are triggered Make a note of the internal errors. Go to step 2 Go to step 2 2 Send clear DTC command Check if DTC is erased Go to step 9 Go to step 3
